Carlitos Cafe and Coffeehouse is one of those hidden gems that you end up going back to time and time again. Ana does a great job preparing Mexican inspired dishes like her pulled pork nachos, menudo, pozole, and the like. Even though it is hidden in an industrial area, local know where it is and keep coming back to eat there.
Great service fresh pastries, and excellent coffee! Blink and you'll pass it because it's hidden in the back but find your way here and you won't be disappointed.
Awesome Huevos rancheros and Huevos con papas!! Nice clean airy restaurant, love the decor. This restaurant is located in a commercial area. So the restaurant has an open layout. I d give the 10 stars if I could. I highly recommend Carlos. Owners are extremely friendly and accommodating!! One suggestion: a signature salsa? We'll be back when we head to Prescott area!!

This is definitely a hidden gem! My husband and I were looking for a place to grab a tasty, hot caffeinated beverage before starting our Sunday and we hit the jackpot. I ordered a vanilla caramel cream latte and he got a mocha. The latte was not too sweet, super flavorful with the addition of vanilla and caramel, and the espresso was rich and not bitter at all. The mocha was sooooo chocolaty! It reminded me of a moist brownie... but in liquid form. All in all, drinks were great and can't wait to go back to try their breakfast and lunch items! Oh, and the inside is super cute and welcoming!
I used to come to Carlitos Cafe before it was even Carlitos Cafe. My brother grew up coming here and every time we go we get a bit of nostalgia. Before it was Carlitos we would enjoy going every weekend because we lived nearby. Then we moved to Prescott and we didn't come so often. Before there was a change in management, I got to meet the new owner. Mrs. Carmen remembers us every time and she always greets us. It used to be a simple coffee shop and Mrs. Carmen made it into a place where we can have a full breakfast with many food options. She left a couple of the menu items and it's nice we still get to enjoy things like the breakfast sandwich and the chai tea latte I used to order. The atmosphere is quiet if you're just looking for a place to study and they have board games if you're with family or friends. One of my brothers favorite thing to do.
